This week was pretty
busy.
Monday and Tuesday, I
was in a trio with Elder Utai and Elder Stocks who were going to be trainers,
too. Then we went to Salta Tuesday night. Got to Salta at about 2 in
the morning and then slept a little bit. We woke up, had training with
President, and then met our new companions. We dedicated the rest of Wednesday to
traveling and we got to the house in Tucuman at about 9 at night Wednesday. Thursday through Sunday went
by really fast!! But there were a lot of little miracles.
That same Wednesday, my
phone stopped working and well, I lost contact with everyone. Missionaries, the
ward and the investigators. Trying to show my new companion around I was a
little stressed out without contact, and well, I was trying to figure a lot of
things out and trying to have patience.
I could see that God helped
the necessary people cross our path when we were out and about. I know that
Heavenly Father knew that I was worried about a lot of things but he helped us
to find the people we needed to see, in the exact moment, and also to be able
to find new people to teach.
As I was trying to be
a good example it was hard to face that I was being rejected at every moment
sometimes, and although my companion didn’t understand everything, he could see
a little bit of how the mission is and receive revelation. He decided to knock
a few doors and really when they greeted us, they were some of the nicest
people that have interest. I loved seeing the faith and motivation that Elder
Andersen had, and it helps me with my faith and strengthens me in the ability
to keep on going and trust in that one of us will receive the revelation and
the will of the Lord if we are willing and ready to listen.
That was about it for
this week, and I’m excited to start another!
Elder Wolf
This is the house of
Tucuman.
We took some picture
as a new district.
There was a wall of plaques
and one of them was from the church!
This is when I went to
Salta to receive Elder Andersen.
Some other pictures of
Elder Andersen and me, and then a picture with Pedro.
