The new area is super
bueno. I like it a lot, buuuut its more richer... the work is a little difficult
because of that. When I got here we didn’t really have anybody to work with,
but we are working to find people. There is a family, Silva, that is super
awesome. The son and the dad are both working towards their baptism.
I am happy that I have
the opportunity to work with Elder Damron. He is from Utah and has a little fewer
months in the mission than me. We get along really well, and we both want to
work a lot. We are really seeing the fruits of our obedience and our efforts.
We walk a lot we have contacted a lot this week. One day we get rejected a lot
and it was hard, but we managed to keep our animo (spirits) up, and we both knew that we were being prepared for something
better. I know that sometimes we go through difficult times so that when we
pass through the good times they are that much sweeter. We have been finding a
lot of people who are interested, and I am really excited for the work and the
impact that we are going to make in the area.
I am in a pension of 4
again. Haha. Also I think we are going to be moving pensions. We will see.
The patriarch (for the
area) is in our ward and we ate lunch with him. I think it was one of the most
spiritual lunches that I have had here. The spirit was so strong in their house
and when we shared a scripture it was there also.
But everything is
good. It’s still getting hotter here!
Thank you again for
the packages, I am going to love them!
